3F Filippi, based on the project by Scandurra Studio, has illuminated the ambitious renovation of a 19th century building at 89 Via Veneto, in the heart of Rome and former historic headquarters of IRI. Well-being and sustainability are the key words of this extraordinary realisation, values shared by all the players involved, who have contributed to adding significant value to the Capital.
The project involved the lighting of more than 16,000 square metres of floor space and achieved
LEED, BREEAM and WELL certification for the entire building. 3F Filippi was chosen for 3F Hal, a high-end lighting product designed in collaboration with SCANDURRA Studio that combines high performance and distinctive aesthetics.
A theatrical product, spectacular light3F Hal stands out for the
theatricality of its light and the quality of the light it emits. Its peculiarity? An internal spotlight placed between the screen and the body, which strongly characterises the product and makes it possible to create several lighting scenarios.
Three main dimensions of the 3F Hal were chosen for the project:
75, 150 and 300 mm, reflecting the width of the product bodies themselves.
The choice was based on ergonomics and the distribution of more than 750 workstations throughout the premises. The technical features of 3F Hal make it the ideal solution for improving well-being and productivity, combining efficiency and flexibility, in full compliance with 3F Filippi standards.
- The product's micro-prismatic screen ensures optimum luminance control, essential for workstations with video terminals.
- The Spot lighting can be used as an accent light or as an enhancement of overall room lighting.
- Indirect lighting gives the spaces a greater sense of spaciousness, making the rooms brighter and emphasizing the architecture.
Combinations of these three lighting elements result in
eight possible lighting scenarios, combining direct, indirect and point light to suit every need.
A synergy of value3F Filippi's lighting know-how combined with Scandurra Studio's architectural vision resulted in a significant and valuable project where the well-being of the person is always at the center.
