3F Rio: the bright side of the Moon
3F Filippi prepares for the launch of a new lighting mission with 3F Rio, a cutting-edge product designed to be flexible, efficient and smart.

What are the features of 3F Rio?
3F Rio arrives in the waterproof and anti-corrosive product range, characterising itself as a high-performance modular product capable of illuminating any industrial environment.



Its main feature is precisely its modularity, which makes it easily recognisable thanks to its crescent-shaped luminous ‘petals’ equipped with LED modules and lenses patented by our R&D department.
It is precisely thanks to these lenses that 3F Rio can provide 3 different light distributions: Wide, Medium and Concentrated, depending on the different project requirements and without limiting the flexibility that can be obtained from the distribution of luminaires in space, allowing installation pitches of up to 1.60 x hu.

The light modules can be configured either circularly or linearly, thus creating two possible versions of 3F Rio: CIRCULAR (C) up to 8 modules and LINEAR (L) up to 4 modules, meeting the needs of multiple sectors/applications.

Another key component of the 3F Rio is its compatibility with IoT sensors, which can be managed both via the web and via a dedicated app. The light sensor is available for both configurations (C and L) and is designed to interface with various devices through different management modes (wireless, hybrid (wireless/wired) and mixed system).



Ready to take off
The performance of 3F Rio is astronomical!
3F Rio can reach 60,000 lumens of luminous flux with a maximum efficiency of 200 lm/W.

With such numbers, considerable heat can develop. This is why we designed every single detail to ensure the highest possible heat dissipation.
For the shape of the heat sink modules and the wiring compartment, we took a cue from the aviation industry, ensuring that the accumulated heat was concentrated and then channelled to the outside of each module. To isolate the electronic components, we designed a stainless-steel plate to which the individual modules and the upper compartment are attached, thus acting as a supporting structure for the entire product.

All this allows the 3F Rio to operate at full capacity in environments where the temperature reaches 75°C (for the HT version), resulting in a guaranteed service life of at least 100,000 hours (L80/B10).

Also noteworthy is the single suspension point for all circular versions, specially designed to prevent misalignment between each luminaire. This ensures that the row of 3F Rio is always perfectly ordered, with the modules always oriented in the same direction.



This new product represents the new frontier for industrial applications, using its innovatively designed light units to adapt light to different usage requirements in perfect 3F Filippi style.
