The efficiency of the 3F X8 Rail meets maximum design flexibility. Engineered to adapt perfectly to any architectural or infrastructural layout, the system offers unrivalled installation versatility. By choosing from the dedicated accessories in the collection, 3F X8 Rail can be configured and installed as a ceiling-mounted, suspended or wall-mounted unit, recessed into a canopy, mounted on a CETRA system, or integrated into the 3F1 and 3F2 linear systems. The latter two act as proper cable ducts, allowing cables to run through them for a clean, tidy and quick installation.
The 3F X8 Rail incorporates a state-of-the-art cabling system that complies with the Abaco RFI and is based on the DALI-2 Data protocol, designed to support the intelligent management of railway systems. The native implementation of international specifications enables the storage of luminaire data (Part 251), monitoring of energy consumption (Part 252) and advanced component diagnostics (Part 253). An IoT-ready solution designed to eliminate service disruptions and maximise energy efficiency.
Thanks to Safe Flicker technology, with guaranteed parameters of PstLM ≤ 1 and SVM ≤ 0.4, the 3F X8 Rail ensures stable, flicker-free light output, helping to improve visual comfort and the quality of perception in railway environments. This feature supports operators’ work and enhances passenger wellbeing, reducing visual fatigue even during prolonged exposure. The LED light sources, certified as Risk Group 0 (RG0) in accordance with photobiological safety standards, also guarantee safe use in all operating conditions, confirming the project’s focus on protecting people and ensuring high-quality lighting.
The 3F X8 Rail system stands out for its 4 mm VS-patterned glass screen, a non-combustible, toughened solution that is ideal for public infrastructure. Having undergone the rigorous Heat Soak Test (HST), it drastically reduces the risk of spontaneous breakage, ensuring exceptional structural strength. Its special finish ensures controlled, completely glare-free light emission, providing comfortable and safe light distribution for users.
