Casambi devices can be controlled via: Buttons and switches (manual control). Apps (manual digital control). Sensors and timers (automatic digital control). The various devices can be grouped together to be controlled as a single unit or individually. Grouping them is very easy; you proceed exactly as you would when grouping apps on your smart devices. You can: Create lighting scenes for different occasions, control multiple devices with a single tap to create the perfect atmosphere for a specific need, and use the same device in multiple scenes.

Casambi offers full control over the colour temperature within the range permitted by the LED light source. Simply swipe your finger across the light source icon to adjust its colour temperature. You can create dynamic lighting scenes with transitions from one scene to another. Animations can be triggered once or can be repeated over time. You can set both the duration of each scene and the transition times between scenes. Furthermore, the app’s unique gallery feature makes control intuitive. By taking a photo of the room or uploading a floor plan to the app, you can mark the lights and then recall them. The images are saved in a dedicated gallery within the app, showing the lights. Users simply need to tap the one they wish to control.

The gateway feature allows you to access a Casambi network remotely. You can control Casambi-enabled devices and change network settings (administrator rights required). To enable remote access, an iOS or Android device must act as a gateway within the Casambi network. The Casambi system is suitable for both simple and complex projects. It is based on the ability to create an unlimited number of networks that can be switched on and off simultaneously. Using the calendar and timer functions, you can activate and deactivate scenes and animations based on parameters such as: times, weekly schedules, seasons, etc. This allows you to meet the diverse needs of users and the spaces to be lit. All Casambi units keep track of the time.
